Giraffe Blanket – spotted!

giraffe blanket

Who’s hiding in this blanket? At first glance, the motif blends into the dynamic canvas of colour, before a second look reveals the pixellated giraffe hiding within the multicoloured swatches. Using the corner to corner technique, the blanket uses diagonals of colour to create a design that mixes motif and pattern perfectly.

To hook up this fantastic pattern, you’ll need:

King Cole Pricewise DK (100% acrylic, 100g/282m),
2 balls of Natural (046),
1 ball of each: Carnation (3286), Baby Lilac (3208), Gold (055), Orange (144), Amber (3207), Shamrock (039), Jade (022), Topaz (341)
A 5mm (US H/8) hook

For yarn stockists contact King Cole on 01756 703670 or visit www.kingcole.com

You’ll find the full pattern, yarn quantities and measurements for this amazing blanket inside issue 84.
